The fleece inlay is the ideal solution when you want to respond flexibly to temperature and weather conditions. It complements your rain or winter rug precisely where horses need warmth the most: in the back and kidney area. At the same time, it supports the cooling-down process by absorbing residual moisture and drawing it away from the body. This keeps your horse comfortably warm without overheating or chilling. Thanks to the Hook&Hold system, the inlay sits securely under the rug, does not slip, and can be quickly attached or removed as needed—ensuring maximum adaptability in everyday stable Management.

Featuring a loop and Velcro closure in the front and a practical clip system in the back, everything stays in place – even during movement. This system is a flexible companion, especially in rapidly changing weather. You can combine a maximum of two underrugs with one overblanket.

  Our innovative combination technology has been specifically designed for our own top and underrugs and is therefore not compatible with blankets from other manufacturers. • Why choose a fleece liner instead of a blanket with integrated fleece?
  One key advantage lies in flexibility: with the liner, you don’t need to buy a separate blanket with built-in fleece. Instead, you can simply upgrade your existing SUNRIDE rain sheet, stable rug, or winter blanket. This brings two major benefits – first, you can remove the liner at any time, which is especially practical and helpful in rapidly changing weather. Second, you can wash it separately, keeping it hygienically clean. With blankets that have permanently sewn-in fleece, this isn’t possible, since the entire blanket would have to go into the washing machine – a much more cumbersome process that also harms the waterproof coating.

• Can I use the fleece liner without a blanket?
  No, the fleece rug is designed to be combined with a rain sheet, stable rug, or winter blanket and is secured with the simple Hook&Hold fastening system. This way, it stays in place, doesn’t slip, and delivers its full functionality.

• Can I also use the liner when my horse is slightly damp?
  Yes, as long as your horse is only slightly damp, the fleece liner is a good choice. It allows moisture to escape while keeping the back comfortably warm. This way, you don’t have to wait until your horse is completely dry before putting on the top blanket.

• Can the liner also serve as a replacement for a full sweat sheet?
  It’s not intended as a full replacement, but rather as a smart addition. The fleece underrug supports the cooling-off process in combination with a top blanket, making the system more versatile. While it can’t fully replace a dedicated sweat sheet, it does noticeably shorten the time until the coat is dry.
